...I've got a 1991 Camaro that I drag race. It has an overdrive tranny, gets 20mpg on the interstate, and has a simple small block with nitrous. It's daily drivable, I drive it to work sometimes. It doesn't handle like a champ, but it does not handle badly by any means.
It has far fewer RWHP than your car, but I guarantee that I would drive and meet you at a dragstrip and race you in it *anytime*. These big-turbo cars with big turbos ARE NOT guaranteed to be anything big at the dragstrip. Lots of RWHP does not guarantee a good timeslip. Or maybe you just aren't worried about ET? Do you just want to squirt up and down the interstate in it?
